Thought:
When mom told Trevor "Because if I leave he’ll kill us.", I can not understand. But when I read that mom was shot by Abel, I see it. How easily love and hatred can intertwine! Abel relied on mom, but thought mom ruined his life.
When Trevor hesitated whether used all the money to save his mom or not, when he must make a choice between his mom's life and his brothers's future life, I was impressed. Poverty causes this dilemma. And similar case is not unusual nowadays. Luckily, mom survived.
