The Old Woman Took The Bus
老妇人坐公交
My husband Mike is a bus driver.
我丈夫麦克是个公交车司机。
Once he was passing a deserted bus stop, one of his passengers (乘客) called out that a old woman wanted to get on.
一次当他刚要开过一个无人上下车的车站时，一位乘客喊道有一位老妇人要上车。
He pulled up the bus to the curb (路边), and opened the doors.
他把公交车停靠在马路边，打开了车门。
After a minute, Mike saw an elderly woman with a cane (拐杖) crossing the street slowly.
一分钟之后，麦克才见到一位老太太拄着拐杖慢慢地过马路。
He waited patiently (耐心地) as she made her way to the bus and climbed the steps.
他耐心地等她来到汽车旁并扶爬上台阶。
While the old woman was looking in her purse (钱包) for her bus ticket，Mike began to close the doors.
当老太太打开钱包找公交票的时候，麦克开始关车门。
“Wait a minute!” she snapped, “My mother’s coming.”
“等一会！”她阻止道，“我妈妈快来了。”
