The Eyes of Love
爱的眼睛
A grandmother and a little girl whose face was sprinkled（撒）with bright red freckles（雀斑） spent the day at the zoo.
一个老奶奶和一个脸上布满淡红色雀斑的小女孩在动物园里度过了一天。
The children were waiting in line to get theircheeks（面颊）painted by a local artist who was decorating them with tiger paws.
孩子们排队等着让当地一位艺术家给他们的脸颊画上虎爪。
"You've got so many freckles; there's no place to paint!" a boy in the line cried.
“你的雀斑太多了，没地方画了！”队列里的一个男孩大叫道。
Embarrassed, the little girl dropped her head.
小女孩尴尬地低下了头。
Her grandmother knelt down next to her. "I love your freckles," she said.
老奶奶在她身边跪下来说：“我喜欢你的雀斑。”
"Not me," the girl replied.
“可我不喜欢，”女孩说。
"Well, when I was a little girl, I always wanted freckles," she said, tracing（划过） her finger across the child's cheek. "Freckles are beautiful!"
“嗯，当我还是个小女孩的时候，我总是想长雀斑，”她说着用手指抚摸着孩子的脸颊。“雀斑真漂亮！”
The girl looked up. "Really?"
女孩抬起头来。“真的吗？”
"Of course," said the grandmother. "Why, just name me one thing that's prettier than freckles."
老奶奶说：“当然了！嘿，你能告诉我一个比雀斑更漂亮的东西不。”
The little girl peered into the old woman's smiling face.
小女孩凝视着老奶奶的笑脸。
"Wrinkles," she answered softly.
“皱纹，”她轻声回答道。
