OK, I'd like to describe a reputable newspaper in Shanghai. Primarily, with regard to what it is, the one that I like to read is 21th Century. Under the supervision of China Daily, it is English newspaper which greatly benefits Chinese English learners.
In response to what it talks about, it's quite a comprehensive newspaper, which is divided into business and science, it also includes a whole page of the entertainment section which is about the latest fashion,campus life, forum, and language lab. The entertainment and the science sections are my favourite. The entertainment part provides us with pictures and brief essays about western superstars. The science section introduces cute new electronic inventions close to our daily life.
Proceeding with the issue of how popular it is, I have to admit that most local high schools recommend their students this newspaper as supplementary reading material. It actually commands a very good market among teenagers.
As a final point, I'd like to boring in the point of whether I like it or not, I suppose I really enjoy this newspaper, for it combines language learning and the timeliness of news perfectly. It is more like a newspaper specifically made for our generation. The information it provides is just what we are interested in. Fashion, models, movie stars, this newspaper is made for a throbbing youthful world.
