In chapter 10, the little prince came to the planet which was inhabited by a king. The king was obsessed with power, but he had no subjects to rule over. Such ridiculous things actually happen in the adult world.
In chapter 11, the second planet was inhabited by a conceited man, he never hear anything but praise.
In chapter 12, the next planet was inhabited by a tippler, he was drinking because he wanted to forget the shame of drinking.The folly of the fallen.
In chapter 13, there is a businessman who was busy in counting stars，he was so busy that had no time to look up at the stars in the sky. He only wanted to own these stars, but never appreciate the beauty of the stars. This is very much like those who are busy all day for a happy life, but never stop to see the happiness in daily life.
In chapter 14, the little prince met a lamplighter, who has a busy job, so busy that he could not even rest. The lamplighter’s job was very boring, just lighting the street lamp and putting out the lamp. But at least it’s a job. Most of us, like the lamplighter, have a repetitive and boring job, but at least it’s a job.
In chapter 15, the little prince met a geographer, who didn’t leave his desk. He never went to the outside to explore the real world. An armchair expert. Just like our dean who never teaches students, but teaches teachers how to teach.
The people on these six planets represent six kinds of people in the adult world. It looks ridiculous, but that’s us, at certain moments.
