The Tale Of The Queen
There she sat, gleaming white;
In the glory of the light,
Of the children watching her;
She perched on her cone with joyful glee,
Of the decorations topped on her,
fitting for a queen;
For all the people passing by,
She was sure to be seen,
Like a duchess presiding on her throne;
All the attention that she owned,
Dazzling and shining, in the light;
As she once was a tedious glob with a plight,
Of when she would become the queen she dreamed;
Topped with lovely sprinkles in the spotlight’s golden beam,
And now she sat among the aisle;
Staring at the ugly rest all the while,
Those merciless, hideous,
unsightly fools;
Were nothing compared to her, a beautiful jewel,
But surely someone wished to take her off the display;
A child who would admire her while at play,
But still she proudly sat on her enchanting throne;
Listening to the children’s laughter in jubilant tone,
At once a small hand reached for her;
And off the shelf she went in a blur,
At last! She said in a sprightly glee;
Someone has found me worthy to be,
And perhaps her wish was nonexistent;
For she was suddenly dropped in an instant,
Then down she went, hitting the ground;
Melting to a puddle without a sound,
Once she lie there, still shining bright; In the glory of the light,
That queen who wished for her attention;
Was never in the store ever mentioned,
And that is the tale of the icecream queen.
女皇的故事
她端坐在那里，白色衣裙熠熠闪光
在光辉中
她愉悦地坐在高椅之上
俯视一群仰望她的孩子们
镶嵌于她身上的装饰品，唯她专用
所有路过她的人，都会去注视她
如同一位公爵夫人坐在宝座上一般

她曾经也是一个充满困境的贫乏之人
如今成为梦寐以求的女皇
在聚光灯的金色光束中
头撒绚丽的花碎
现在她就坐于过道旁
目中无人地鄙视着周围的一切
那些呆滞，丑陋，难看的傻瓜
与她相比，不堪一击，她是一颗美丽的宝石
笃定有人希望与她牵手
一个正在玩耍的孩子一直在欣赏她
而她至高无上地坐在迷人的宝座上
倾听着孩子们的欢笑声
立刻，有一只小手伸向她
她下架时有些眩晕
最后，她兴高采烈地说
终于有人发现了我的价值！
也许，她的愿望并不能实现
因为她突然一下子掉下来
然后，她下去撞到地面
融化成无声的水摊
一旦她躺在那里，她仍然闪闪发光
在光辉中
一位自诩夸耀的女皇
至此，在店中再未被人提及
这就是冰淇淋女皇的故事
