Stop Making Comparisons with Others
停止攀比
A crow（乌鸦） lived in the forest and was absolutely satisfied in life, until the day he saw a swan（天鹅）.
一只乌鸦住在森林里，非常满意他的生活，直到有一天他看到了一只天鹅。
"This swan is so white and I am so black," the crow thought. "This swan must be the happiest bird in the world." He expressed his thoughts to the swan.
乌鸦想：“这只天鹅那么白，我那么黑，那这只天鹅一定是世上最快乐的鸟。”他把自己的想法告诉了天鹅。
"Actually," the swan replied, "I was feeling that I was the happiest bird around until I saw a parrot（鹦鹉）, which has two colors. I now think the parrot is the happiest bird in creation."
天鹅回答说：“其实，在看到鹦鹉之前，我都觉得我是世上最快乐的鸟。鹦鹉身上有两种颜色。我现在认为鹦鹉是世上最快乐的鸟。”
The crow then approached the parrot. The parrot explained, "I lived a very happy life until I saw a peacock（孔雀）. I have only two colors, but the peacock has multiple colors."
乌鸦随后走近鹦鹉。鹦鹉解释说：“在看到孔雀之前，我都过着非常快乐的生活。然而我只有两种颜色，但孔雀有很多种颜色。”
The crow then visited a peacock in the zoo and saw that hundreds of people had gathered to see him. After the people had left, the crow approached the peacock.
乌鸦随后去动物园看了孔雀，看到好几百人聚集在那里看他。人们离开后，乌鸦走近了孔雀。
"Dear Peacock, You are so beautiful. Every day many people come to see you. When people see me, they immediately shoo me away. I think you are the happiest bird on the planet."
“亲爱的孔雀，你真漂亮。每天都有很多人来看你。但是当人们看到我时，他们立刻把我赶走。我认为你是世上最快乐的鸟。”孔雀回答说：“我一直认为我是世上最美丽、最快乐的鸟。但是因为我的美丽，我被困在这个动物园里。我仔细观察了动物园，发现乌鸦是唯一没有关在笼子里的鸟。因此，过去的几天，我一直在想，如果我是一只乌鸦，我就可以快乐地到处漫游。”
That's our problem too. We make unnecessary comparisons（比较） with others and become sad. We don't value what life has given us.
这也是我们的问题。我们与他人作不必要的比较，然而变得不开心。我们不珍惜生活给予我们的东西。
This all leads to the vicious cycle of unhappiness. Value the things life has given us.
这一切都导致了不快乐的恶性循环。珍惜生活给予我们的东西。
Learn the secret of being happy —discard the comparison which leads only to unhappiness.
学会快乐的秘诀——不要比较，跟别人比较只会变得不快乐。
