Dear Mr.Zhang,

I'm writing regarding about the homework is handed the last time.

⒈I'm sorry very much,it was the student's responsibility to hand in the homework, but I didn't do it.

⒉ The reason I handed in my homework late was that I had lost my laptop and couldn't write it.

⒊I will make up the first assignment as soon as passiple.
