One thing that repetitively breaks me down is Maomao’s failure to do daily eye treatment until very late at night. I wish him could finish this important job in the morning and then he can play all day without burden. But he may think it is a boring thing to do so he delay it.
It happened again yesterday. We went home at 3 pm and they required to play in the sandpit in a nearby park. I promised them earlier so I agreed to take them there. As we left home, I realized he had not done eye treatment. I panicked and complained for about 5 minutes, which was all negative and did not help at all.
Suddenly, i remembered an interview I watched on Saturday night about being a good organizer and being reasonable to children. To talk and reason with children is just like to do the same with colleagues, it takes efforts and patient for the first time, but it will make things better afterwards.
Speaking of colleagues, one attitude that parents should adopt toward children is to treat them as colleagues, in this way, you will never be pushy.
Remember to children, the most important is a healthy hard core: a confident, positive soul, which can only be nurtured with love and respect. Childhood is precious, as a mother, it is my duty to make their precious childhood memorable.
About eye treatment, next time, find time to sit by him when he is doing the treatment. Or play him some soft music.
