《世界上最遥远的距离》，关于这首诗的作者说法并不 统一。一说本诗出自张小娴的小说《荷包里的单人床》；另一说出自印度著名诗人泰戈尔诗集《飞鸟集》,但也有人表示在《飞鸟集》中并未检索到相关诗句。
《荷包里的单人床》是我早年看过的一部张小娴的作品，小说写的是女主喜欢上了一位急诊科医生，而这位医生的前女友因为一场意外离世，女主为了男主和初恋男友分手，最终却发现自己始终无法替代逝去的前女友，在这个场景下，女主对男主说出了这段话：“世界上最遥远的距离，不是生与死的距离，不是天各一方，而是，我就站在你面前，你却不知道我爱你”。
