However, it appeared that Marshal is the correct terminology to use under the meaning of "an administrative officer of a U.S. judicial district who performs duties similar to those of a sheriff." ,but also means "an officer of the highest rank in the armed forces of some countries, including France." in general English-speaking countries.
Marshall are likely to occur mainly as people's last name.
