Boeing 787
Hi guys. Now I would like to introduce my favorite passenger plane which is - The Boeing 787.
That's how it looks.In my opinion, Boeing 787 's wing tip is the best in all types of planes. The raked wingtip could avoid most of the air drag and provide extra air lifting power that make Boeing 787 become a type of aircraft that increase the distance of flight and decrease the usage of fuel. Well, we can't add all the contribution on the wingtip don't we? The engine GENX（General Electric Next-generation X） is also amazing.
As we known that, if you want to make more money by selling products like aircraft engine, you need make the operating cost cheap and excellent capability as well. GENX has done that perfectly. Special shape of the fan, advanced aerostatic press technology and less pollution of carbon dioxide, what a star! More importantly, the egg shell fairing and application of serrated nozzle on the engine can reduce the noise and the power loss and provide passengers a lovely journey.
Another good thing about Boeing 787 is it is really light compare to others and that's all because the usage of the composite materials.Boeing 787 uses a large number of advanced composite materials. One of the most striking point is that the Boeing 787 uses around half of the body structure with a lighter, stronger composite material instead of aluminum alloy. For another reason, because the metal can hide damage problems, the damages are hard to find, until the fracture were found, but composite materials don't have this kind of question and also, it make the plane very light so the engine could save more fuel and carry more passenger.
