“If you're going to try,go all the way.Otherwise ,don't even start.”

      如果你想尝试，那就全力以赴。否则，就不要开始。

“If you're going to try,go all the way.This could mean losing girlfriend,wives,relatives,jobs and maybe your mand.Go all the way.”

      如果你想尝试，那就全力以赴。这可能会使你失去女友，妻子，亲人，工作，甚至是你的理智。但也请你全力以赴。

“It could mean not eating for three or four days.It could mean freezing on a park bench.It could mean jail.It could mean derision ,mockery, isolation.”

      也许你会好几天食不果腹，在夜晚里公园上的长凳上瑟瑟发抖，被关进监狱，或是遭受冷嘲热讽，甚至是孤立。

“Isolation is the gift.All the others are a test of your endurance,of how much you really want to do it.And,you'll do it,despite rejection and the worst odds.And it will be better than anything else you can imagine.”

      孤立无援其实是一种礼物。其他所有的遭遇都是对你忍耐力的考验，测试你到底有多想完成它。不论将来面对怎样的拒绝否定和最坏的可能性，你也会做到。并且结果可能会远超乎你想象的好

  这是一首简短的小诗，它的作者查尔斯.布克夫斯基（Charles Bukowski）是一位非常高产的作家，诗人。不知道你有没有感受到他诗歌中的“疯狂”，但也的确如此，他是“疯”的，他的一生狂放不羁到简直可以和李白媲美了，离不开酒。查尔斯的童年经历并不美好，这或许从另一方面是种力量促使他写作。

  不疯魔不成活，诗人的内心仿佛有着百般愁思，对一件事可以痴迷可以疯魔可以放任，正如他诗歌中所写“This could mean losing girlfriend,wives,relatives,jobs and maybe your mand”意味着失去一切，这也确实是查尔斯的经历。我不知该如何判断，对他诗中观点是否苟同，但是那种“全力以赴”的精神和做法着实令人心颤。试问你会为了一件事亦或是一种追求拼尽全力甚至是放弃所有也在所不惜吗？
