Today is the 117th birthday of Shandong University. I became one member of Shandong University at 2011 and this is my 8th year in Jinan. Time runs by but I still feel I just graduated. I usually go to our university and never feel I've leave the school. When I was studying in school, I wasted so much time lying on bed. Every time I thought about this, I felt so embarrassed. Several days ago, I learnt that one undergraduate in our school reads about 100 books per month which astonished me a lot. She spends over 8 hours per day on reading books. Frankly speaking, the books I read in school were much lesser than 100. I began to read books every day when I began to work and I benefit a lot from reading.
I have to admit I wasn’t a good student and three years have passed, but I’m still a very primary employee. Of course I shouldn’t hurry and I need time to improve myself. Now I’ve chosen one job that I like and I’ll work hard and pay more efforts to this job. I believe I could get a bright future if I stick to this job.
I’m so tired now and I really want to have a rest. And it was so hard for me to write all the words above when I was at such a tired state. Ok, I’ll stop here and take a taxi to go home.
