The habit of being rich

Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires. ---2Peter1:4

Since we are part of God’s nature by promise, we must habitually “apply” God’s nature to our human nature. The first habit to form, then, is to understand God’s provision. We say: “ah! I don’t have this ability, can’t buy!” This sentence hides the biggest lie. Talking about money in nature make people unhappy, so the same is true spiritually. In our speech, it seems that God is very stingy with us. We think that saying at the end of the day, “well, the day is just enough; the struggle is over.” is true humility, and in the Lord Jesus, all that belong to the almighty God is ours. If we obey God, he can command the last grain of sand, the farthest star to bless us. What does it matter if the environment is tough? Can’t the environment be difficult? If we indulge in self-pity and self-pity, we deny the abundance God has given us, and prevent others from receiving his provision. No sin is greater than the sin of self-pity, because it hides God and puts the self on the throne. It makes us grumble and turn our lives into unsatisfied spiritual sponges, neither beautiful nor generous. When God begins to be satisfied with us, he removes all vain riches until we know that all spring are in him.

If God’s grace and power can’t be manifested in us unconsciously, God will hold us accountable. “God is able to multiply all grace to you.” So, learn to give God’s grace to others. Always bear with you the seal of God, so that his blessing may be revealed through you.

Dear God, let the sweetness and completeness of your power come to me today. Let me find the great, abundant, loving and joyful life of God.
