1. brash:adj
America the brash savior

Part 2: Sentences
1. Baba was like the widower who remarried but can’t let go of his dead wife.
父亲到了美国，貌似开始了新的生活，可是对故国的眷恋不曾停止过。这句话可以描述人们不愿走出过去的情况。
2. For me, America was a place to bury my memories.
For Baba, a place to mourn his.
美国是我埋葬过去的地方，却是父亲哀悼记忆的地方。

Part 3: Summary
Amir and Baba startedwith their new life in Fremont, California. Amir regarded America as a placewhere he could bury his memories while Baba was not able to adjust to the newlife. But Baba still worked hard as an assistant at a gas station to support theirlife and Amir to attend school.
In the summer of1983, Amir graduated from high school. And Baba was pretty happy and took himto an Afghan restaurant and a bar to celebrate Amir the graduation. Havingdrunk much beer, Baba was drunken and mentioned Hassan, which reminded Amir ofhis past. Baba also gave him a car as a gift. Amir much appreciated Baba’skindness and consideration. As for which major to choose, Amir stood his groundto major in English. Baba was not happy with his choice but he accepted it.
In the summer of1984, Amir and Baba hung out in a flea market, where Amir met Soraya, adaughter of a decorated general in Kabul. Amir fell in love with Soraya atfirst sight. A romantic love story was to come.
Part 4 随感
看这章，最大的感受是逃避不能解决问题，Amir还是无法埋葬过去的记忆，时不时会想起和Hassan在故国的事情。所以才有了后面他不顾一切也要回去找Hassan的故事。Baba，曾经富甲一方，受到别人的尊重和信任。来到这个陌生的国度，言语不通，才是最孤独的吧。对故国的四年，对新生活的不适应，从事长时间的体力活养家糊口，儿子成了最大的安慰和精神支柱。这一章，看到了父爱的细腻，默默为儿子做一切，以儿子为荣。即便不同意Amir选择的专业，却依然和别人夸耀自己的儿子会成为一名作家。
