A friend asked me for some tips and tools for learning English in a WeChat group. I don't know why the friend asked me rather than others. When I practice English every day, I always avoid being noticed by acquaintances. I think that keeping my head down will reduce a lot of annoyance from others, even close friends or colleagues, and save a lot of time.
Following my intuition, I think that the person who asked such a question doesn't really want to learn and won't pay enough attention to practice. I guessed that the friend didn't just ask me, but also asked many of her friends. If I tell her how to do it, she won't follow my tips and use these tools.
There are tons of methods and resources for learning English on the Internet, but what most of learners lack is practice and patience. For me learning and using English is not just a period of a certain process, but the whole life, thus the end must be success.
Going back to the topic in that WeChat group, I replied to the friend, "Who is so bored to have nothing to do to learn English?" And then no feedback in the group, the topic ended, time saved. It seemed that I'm a bit unfriendly or arrogant?
