Wil Wheaton演质子教授的节目如期开播，Sheldon的抵制没有成功，他在Amy的劝说下准备看节目找槽点，结果爱上了节目内容。他惊讶地看到Howard作为嘉宾出现，就要求Howard带他去找Wil Wheaton道歉，也想上。没想到Wil想邀请女性科学家比如Amy这样的。Sheldon回来提起，Amy表示不感兴趣，Sheldon意识到Amy是为了顾及自己的感受，他决心做出改变。当然他的改变并不成功，不过他还是成功说服Amy参加了节目。并且全程忍到内伤，过后需要去屋顶大喊泄愤。

Leonard写的推理破案小说里有个恶毒女主，Bernadette认为原型是Penny，Penny则认为是Bernadette，Leonard自己也不清楚是谁，被Penny算账后找老妈Beverly倾诉苦闷，老妈一个典型句式提醒他，原来这个恶毒女主的原型是老妈！
