counterproductive

“counterproductive”是形容词，从它的构词（counter + productive）可以看得出它的意思是“产生相反效果的、事与愿违的、适得其反的”。它会常常修饰政策、策略、规则、措施等词。在写解决方法类的文章时可以用到这个词。 

管教孩子本意是好的，也是必需的，但如果对孩子过分严格，不给他们任何自由和个人空间，结果可能会适得其反。这时候我们就可以说：
