You can't connect the dots looking forward, you can only connect them looking backwards.
你无法预知未来将会发生什么，你只能回首过去的点滴。
So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future.
所以，要相信那些贯穿始终的信念。
You have to trust in something: your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever.
你不得不相信：你的勇气、命运、生活、因缘，诸如此类。
Because believing that the dots will connect down the road will give you the confidence to follow your heart, even when it lead you off the well worn path.
相信这些会伴随你度过一生，它们会给你遵从自己真实想法的信心，甚至使你摆脱平凡。
And that will make all the difference.
让你与众不同。
Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life.
你的时间并不充裕，不要无故把它浪费在重复别人的人生里。
Don't be trapped by dogma: which is living with the results of other people's thinking.
不要被教条束缚：活在别人为你规划的人生里，
Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice.
不要任由别人的观点掩盖自己的真实想法。
You've got to find what you love.
你会找到你热爱的一切。
And that is as true for your work as it is for your lovers.
不仅你的事业，还有你的伴侣。
Your work is going to fill a large part of your life and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work.
你的工作将占据大半个人生，唯一能使自己满足的方法就是完成自己认为的非凡事业。
And the only way to do great work is to love what you do.
唯一能成就非凡的方法，就是热爱你所做的。
If you haven't found it yet, keep looking, and don't settle.
如果你还没找到，那就继续寻找，不要安逸下来。
Have the courage to follow your heart and intuition.
大胆地听从内心呼唤和直觉指引。
They somehow already know what you truly want to become.
它们已知晓你到底想成为怎样的人。
You're going to have some ups and you're going to have some downs.
人生总是起起伏伏。
Most people give up on themselves easily.
大部分人轻易地放弃了。
You know the human spirit is powerful?
你知道意志到底有多强大吗？
There is nothing as powerful.
没有比意志更强大的东西。
It's hard to kill the human spirit!
人类的意志坚不可摧！
Anybody can feel good when they have their health, their bills are paid, they have happy relationships.
任何人在个人健康，账务状况和感情生活均良好的环境中，都能感到幸福。
Anybody can be positive then, anybody can have a larger vision then, anybody can have faith under those kinds of circumstances.
此时任何人都可以是积极的，任何人都可以拥有远见卓识，任何人都可以拥有这种环境下产生的信念。
The real challenge of growth mentally, emotionally and spiritually comes when you get knocked down.
真正的挑战将扩大至心理、情绪、精神，会在你倒下时接踵而至。
It takes courage to act.
拥有勇气才能反击。
Part of being hungry when you have been defeated.
被击倒时仍能谦虚。
It takes courage to start over again.
只有拥有非凡的勇气，才能破旧立新。
To persevere I think is important for everybody.
我认为坚持对于每个人都很重要。
Don't give up，don't give in.
不要放弃，不要屈服。
There's always an answer to everything.
世间万物皆有答案。
总结成功的关键要素，也是一名新青年应该具备的品质：
热爱！意志！勇气！坚持！
