An Italian woman has delighted social media users with a playful video of her father ‘ordering’ his morning coffee through the kitchen window.
An Italian man has won the hearts of Twitter users after playfully tricking his daughter into believing he was ‘going out for coffee’ – only to enjoy a hot drink from their front garden.
The video was shared on Twitter by account Growing Up Italian , and has quickly won praise from hundreds of social media users
The clip starts with the man putting his coat on, while his daughter asks: ‘Dad, where are you going?’
He replies he was going for a coffee, leading to his daughter to protest, saying: ‘The coffee shops are closed. Do you not understand?’
He says: ‘What do you mean they’re closed! I’m going to get a coffee.’
Meanwhile his daughter urged him to stay at home, saying: ‘Everything is closed, you can’t go out!’
Defiant, the father insists he was going out because he’s ‘tired and bored’ while his daughter followed him out of the house begging him to stay indoors.
But it quickly emerges he wasn’t going far, with the older man stepping out the door and moving toward the kitchen window to ask his wife for a coffee through an open window.
‘Excuse me, is this bar open?’ he asks. ‘Please may I have a coffee?’ he continued, while his daughter laughed in the background.
The footage was hugely praised on Twitter where users said they were impressed with the man’s spirit and wit.
