The table above the plot displays important information about each variable, namely the color and the scale of each line in the plot. The table also shows the current value of the variables. The Y-axis of the plot window has its values normalized to percentage values of the scales in the table. Other information:
• Constraint Indicators – For manipulated inputs and controlled outputs, the cells in the table are colored according to the following steady state constraint status:

1. Green – The variable is unconstrained.
2. Yellow – The variable is out-of-constraint (because of infeasibilities).

Using the Simulation Menu
The Simulation menu lets you start the simulation and perform actions on the simulation window. This menu is also accessible by clicking the right mouse button (menu shown below) when the cursor is on the plot. Some of the actions can also be performed using the simulation toolbar. More information on these menus is in the Introduction.
Zooming In Using the Mouse
You can use the Zoom Mode selection on the right mouse button menu to toggle the zoom mode on and off. This feature can also be initialized from the mouse.
To zoom in on an area:

1. Left click on the plot above and to one side of the area you want to zoom in on.
2. Hold the mouse button down and drag the cursor down and to the other side until the area you want to view is outlined.
3. Release the mouse button. The enclosed area is now enlarged.

To toggle the zoom on or off:

1. Open the menu by clicking the right mouse button while the cursor is in the plot.
2. Deselect Zoom Mode by clicking on it when the menu opens.

Changing the Plot Appearance
Modifying the plot lines can customize the simulation plot. For example, the right mouse button menu provides selections you can use to change the line color and thickness. These settings are the defaults if a graph is saved and then opened again.
To toggle all the lines between thick and thin:

1. Place the cursor in the plot and click the right mouse button.
2. When the menu appears, click Thin Lines on (checked) or off.
