Job Description
We are part of the Arm China design center, and are responsible for documenting the IP that constitutes the products and ecosystem. This encompasses a broad spectrum of product areas crossing CPU, AI, Secure, Multimedia and IoT.
Key responsibilities
• Your top priority in this role is to collaborate with domain experts on crafting structured technical content. You improve the comprehension and consistency of the documentation, and eliminate ambiguity without the loss of precision.
• You join forces with R&D team to develop source information for our products, and your contributions ensure that the documentation is easy to understand by the end users, who are chip designers and ecosystem partners.
• You keep the documentation in sync with corporate writing standards and guidelines, and contribute to initiatives that aim to improve quality standards for the authoring team.
Job Requirements
The skill we most value is your ability to learn and grow within the job and your drive to use this knowledge to help your colleagues. Your success in this position is almost guaranteed if you possess the following essential skills and qualifications:
• You are an experienced technical author, and you can take ownership for delivering documentation without much supervision. The English language holds no mysteries for you. It is beneficial if you have experience with documents using formal language, for example standards or legislation.
• You are more than comfortable with verbal and written communication, and you are dedicated to a detail-orientated approach.
• You can build on your working knowledge of computer technology. It is an advantage if your are familiar enough with computer architecture or a related technical field you are in a position to strengthen the team.
• You have a degree or post-graduate qualification in a relevant technical field.
• Your social skills make you a great teammate, and you enjoy communicating, collaborating, and interacting with computer architects and other authors.
• We’d like you to have worked with collaborative tools and systems used to produce documentation. You are familiar with Desktop Publishing applications, documentation review tools, Microsoft Office, and vector graphics.
