很多人都以为万圣节是昨天，

但其实昨天只是万圣夜前夜（Halloween）

就像圣诞节之前的平安夜一样

万圣节是诸圣节（All Saints’ Day）的俗称

本是天主教等基督宗教的宗教节日

时间是11月1日

万圣节也可以称为

All Hallows' Day或者 Hallowmas

Halloween or Hallowe'en

(a contraction of Hallows' Even

or Hallows' Evening),

also known as Allhalloween,

All Hallows' Eve,or All Saints' Eve,

is a celebration observed in

several countries on 31 October,

the eve of the Western Christian

feast of All Hallows' Day.

万圣节前夜，也被称为Allhalloween,

All Hallows Eve，或All Saints' Eve，

是几个国家在10月31日庆祝的节日。

It begins the three-day

observance of Allhallowtide,

the time in the liturgical yeardedicated

to remembering the dead,

including saints (hallows),

martyrs, and all the faithful departed.

这一天是西方基督教万圣节的前夜

Allhallowtide纪念活动一般为期三天，

用来纪念死去的人，包括圣人(圣器)，

殉道者，和所有忠诚的人。
