据外媒消息，近日，有内部人士声称苹果方面已经正式通知英特尔， 2020 年iPhone将弃用英特尔的5G调制调节器。这意味着英特尔已经在苹果供应商中出局了，而英特尔此前专为苹果准备的一款名叫“Sunny Peak”调制调节器也被停止开发。一位来自英特尔的代表对媒体说：“英特尔 2018 年至 2020 年5G产品的客户协定和路线尚未改变，我们的5G计划和项目仍在进行。”
对此，有分析师称，就中国市场的局势来看，苹果不太可能会使用华为的芯片，而高通就更不可能了，此前的专利纠纷双方已撕破脸皮。因此，目前来看，最近刚发布5G调制解调器产品的联发科极有可能拿下苹果的订单。不过，此前，也有消息称苹果在研发自主芯片上投入巨资，自主研发调制调节器也是大有可能的事情。一首凉凉送给英特尔~
