I just heard a ridiculous answer from the top Democrat presidential candidate, Burney Sanders, when he was asked whether the criminals such as the Boston Marathon bombers can have voting rights.
His answer was affirmative, which means that those criminals that are extremely dangerous to the safety of the innocent citizens of the U.S. would have their voting rights and might contribute to determining the future direction of this country.
This kind of opinions showed that these politicians are interested in nothing more than their approval rating instead of the well being of the voters they represented. They try to be popular and please their voters instead of doing the right thing.
Take a look at Europe right now. Since German Chancellor Merkel opened the German border to the waves of the Middle East refugees, the country has experienced more violent crimes caused by the criminals hidden among those refugees. The chaos in Europe was one of the causes for the British citizens voting to exit the EU.
A great leader shouldn't make his decisions based on what's popular. Sometimes he has to make hard decisions that would be very unpopular but the right decisions. Otherwise, he is nothing but a follower and could lead a country to a disaster.
