Today,more people than ever before are speaking to each other through satelite television,cellular telephones and computers.This means that people from diffenent parts of the world need to be able to communicate in the same language.That language happens to be English.
Because of this,experts have predicted that more than half of the world's 6000 languages may die out in the next century.Already almost all Californian Native American languages are in danger of extinction.they are being swalllowed up by English and other languages.It is a pity,but that is one of the prices of modernization
// todo happened 时态
That language happens to be English.
= It happens that that language is English 那种语言整好是英语
时态相同,接动词原形 to + 动词原形
不同 需要接have + 过去分词
It happens that he was there // 时态不同
= He happens to have been there
