Speaking of a historical period that i am interested in , i wish to share with you a glistening Chinese historical period called Tang Dynasty, lasting approximately 300 years.
It is universally acknowledged that Tang Dynasty is one of the most powerful and prosperous dynasties in the long pages of Chinese history.
Honestly speaking , i knew this Dynasty through the history books in primary school at first. After that , piles of TC series were in relation to stories happened in this dynasty.
KAIYUAN prosperous period when the economy, politics , culture and the strength of the country reached an unparalleled level.
Here are my reason why i find it is interesting.

The first point i want to begin with is that wuzetian became the first and the only Chinese empress during this period, which lefts lots of questions to the later generation. As you know, China is a society where man plays the dominant roles. Even today ,we can not ignore the existence of sex discrimination.
However, the country's economy continued to increase rapidly when she was in power.

As well as that , I could say many artworks made in Tang dynasty are national treasures, which could tell us people's colorful lives and their custom at that time. Take Tang san cai for example, which is a precious pottery. it was the symbol of industry and wisdom of ancient people.
What impresses me most is that the colors on the appearance of tangsancai do not fade after more than 1000years.
However, the technology of producing tangsancai was lost near 1000years. what a pity.
And i am also surprised at the fact that women living in tang dynasty were proud of being fat while girls nowadays prefer having slim figures.
It is funny to see females from different periods have opposite ideas toward beauty.
