Have you ever put your trousers in the washing machine and then remembered there was a large bank note in your back pocket？ When you rescued your trousers, did you find the note was whiter than white？People who live in Britain needn't despair when they made mistakes like this （and a lot of people do）！

Fortunately for them，the Bank of England has a team called Mutilated Ladies which deals with claims from people who fed their money to a machine or to their dog. Dogs, it seems，love to chew up money！

A recent case concerns Jane Butlin whose fiancé, John, runs a successful furniture business.

练习感悟：

this中s的音发的太长了。一有悠哉的心态就想像老夫子一样拉长音慢悠悠的发音。今天的文章比较简单，而且很有趣，所以两遍就好了。不过，再重新听的时候，发现needn't的t的音没有发出来，还有who的停顿有点太长了。

儿子每天都要盯着我朗读，因为要看手机。现在已经第四天了，我已经习惯了，好歹他也知道我必须读完新概念才能把手机给他。如此一来，也增加了我的紧迫感，起码不敢走神了。
