    单词“up”作为副词的时候,它的一些词义从表面看容易引起混淆。最明显的是意为“release; open;to a stop or halt state ”;即表示达到一种“放松;放开;停止或挂起的状态”。当表示“停止”意义的时候,常与draw,bring,fetch,pull一起使用。

    (1) let up(不及物动词+副词):

    (4) fetch up:
