In case you've missed it, there is a trade war going on now, between China and the U.S.
After China announced the retaliation on $60 billion U.S. exporting goods overnight, the U.S. stock market plunged 700 points or more than 2% in today's trading.
I used to not care about the market's ups and downs so much. But as I'm working over the years and became more invested in the stock market, the impact of the stock market on my personal wealth became more significant. Perhaps this is one of the reasons that all presidential candidates would be concerned about their election campaign agendas, i.e. the U.S. economy and the stock market.
Since Trump became the President, the stock market has been bullish for almost two years. The Wall Street investors had voted with their confidence in the direction of the U.S. economy. I just hope that negotiation between the two biggest economies of the world will eventually be successful and most of the issues will be resolved. They are smarter than me. Why can't they just figure this thing out?
I also hope that this article will not be blocked by the website. But even if it is, I have written my day's quota. So who cares?
Cheers guys!
