I、Research Background
Gas boiler, furnace and gas hot water heater will produce condensate water. It is acidic and will corrode cast iron soil pipe, equipment and sewer system. Especially condensate water discharging to a waste drain, it will corrode underground supply water system and result in lead and cadmium exceeded in water supply, also will damage water delivery system and make incalculable loss.
USA, Canada, UK and most countries made strict restrictions to condensate water, it must be neutralized before drain. These countries generally use Calcium Carbonate, Magnesium Oxide and such to neutralize condensate water. China generally use condensate recycling equipment, or use neutralization amine or organic pH regulators. Comparatively, use inorganic mineral media is more eco-friendly to neutralize condensate water.
