HSBC Securities Services (HSS) provides comprehensive global, regional and domestic fund services including fund administration, global custody, corporate trust and loan agency and sub-custody settlement and services to the international asset management industry.
Role Purpose
This role exists to provide analysis and coordination of work streams within the HSS e-Commerce team. The e-Commerce team is responsible for the delivery of new services and enhancements on the HSS online client Portal, working with Business Stakeholders, Design Consultants & IT to deliver innovative, and client focussed online tools. The e-Commerce platform provides cross product, global coverage of HSS services including Global Custody, Sub-Custody, Fund Services, Transfer Agency and Fund Performance Measurement. The role has a particular focus on the delivery of new tools and significant enhancements to existing tools as part of a large scale investment under the HSS Growth Strategy – Digital & Data workstream.
The project organisation is undergoing a transformative adoption of DevOps and Agile frameworks. The BA will work as part of teams organised to deliver particular feature areas of the architecture as efficiently as possible to increase the flow of deliverables into production. Our teams purpose is to deliver at pace, frequently, with high quality, to delight our customers both internal and external. The BA role is particularly responsible for gathering requirements, front end product design, ensuring client usability. These are complex projects that will require the incumbent to work very closely with Product Managers, Design Consultants, Globally Distributed IT & Business Teams within HSS.
Requirements:
• Demonstrate the ability to coordinate multiple work streams within a complex project environment
• Ability to lead project resources across the business to meet deadlines & drive solutions
• Good knowledge of web portal design and development principles with a focus on client experience
• Good relationship management skills - able to engage with and gain confidence of others and maximise their contribution to the process
• Previous project experience and familiarity with associated “tools” e.g. process mapping and functional requirements documentation
• Experience in building and executing business focused testing and migration strategies
• Delivering on one major system implementation of the target software solution or similar software solution
