People are often nervous or apprehensive[1] before performing in front of an audience.

People who are really nervous may feel tense[2], which is the opposite of relaxed.

Someone who strongly believes in their ability to do something is often confident.

The best way to build confidence is to practice what you're going to do until you can do it with ease[3].

To be indifferent[4] means to not care one way or the other[5] about something.

If you are indifferent to a person or project, it means that the person or project isn't important to you.

To be appreciative[6] is to be thankful or grateful for something.

If someone does something nice for you, you should appreciate it.

"To be depressed" is the opposite of "to be happy".

When someone is depressed, they feel very sad.
