Reports Indicate That Arctic Temperatures Hit a New Heat Record
The UN's World Meteorological Organization(WMO) said Tuesday it was working to verify reports of a new Arctic record temperature of 38 degrees Celsius (100.4 degrees Fahrenheit) in a Siberian town. If confirmed by WMO, that marks the hottest temperature ever recorded north of the Arctic Circle.
