Jesus Chinese Brother, Hong Xiuquan

Hong Xiuquan used to be an intellectual who was crazy about his academic career. After failing several times in the empirical civil service exam, he suffers a nervous breakdown and dreams that the god tells him he is the brother of Jesus Christ. Believing that he is sent on a demon-slaying mission, Hong Xiuquan amasses an army of tens of thousands and starts what is called the bloodiest rebelllion of the 19th century in the whole world. Hong and his army succeed in occupying Nan Jing and establishs the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom with Hong as their emperor. After that, Hong puts into effect a lot of reforms with solid ideas about equality and humanity. 

The founding of Taiping Kingdom is to Hong's credit, but the downfall of it is still because of him. he is such a paranoid that the he orders a culling in his men which leads to an internal breakdown of the team. Moreover, the liberated cities were not well protected. Taiping Heavenly Kingdom thus collapses under itself.

Despit the downfall of the Taiping Rebellious Crusade, the Taiping governmental ideology lives on in China to this very day.

How Stan Lee Built a Superhero Empire

Before Stan Lee became the editor of the Marvel comics, he once worked odd jobs, dreaming of becoming a novelist. Before long, his talent made him picked up to write filler stories for Captain America comics. And the dispute among the creators of Captain America made Stan an interim editor.

After that,  Stan's career took off despite the brief detour of the World War Two and the restrictions of the Comics Code. He created a superhero team containing his biggest heros, which became a hit among the readers. And the Marvel Bullpen company which Stan worked for soon became known to the world.

In spite of the booming of the Marvel comics, Marvel's and Stan's road to Hollywood was much more difficult than they had expected. Fierce competition and the slump of the entire comics industry in the '90s hindered their steps until they finally survived these ups and downs and produced a series of popular Marvel TV adaptations and movies. Through it all, Stan continued to be an ambassador of the brand and a new wave of Marvel films in 2000 led to his New signature: the well-placed cameo.
