The computational foundations of AI, cognitive science and neuroscience bring us cross-disciplinary exchanges on questions, methods and results. The author instroduces the challenges of perception and action under uncertainty through the lens of computation. Moveover, also shows us the advances, which include development of representations, inferential procedures for large-scale probabilistic inference, machinery for enabling reflection, decisions about tradeoffs in effort, precision, and timeliness of computations.
The goal of computational rationality: making decisions with hightest rewards, while making full use of compuation in real-world problem.
