非柔能败刚，先泄其力，后击其忌也

关于”以柔克刚“

老子《道德经》第八章说：

上善若水，水善利万物而不争。

处众人之所恶，故几于道。

居善地，心善渊，与善仁，言善信，正善治，事善能，动善时。

夫唯不争，故无尤

李小龙说：

关于善的解释，李小龙的一段言论更为贴切：

A good martial artist is like water. Why? 

一个武术家就像水一样。为什么？

Because water is insubstantial. 

因为水是无形的。

By that, you can"t grab it, you can"t punch and hurt it , 

因此，你抓不住它，也无法用拳头击伤它

so be soft like water and flexible.

所以像水一样柔软灵活

Empty your mind. 

清空你的思想。

Be formless, shapeless like water. 

无形无式，如水一般。

You put water in a cup, it becomes the cup.

将水倒入杯中，它变成杯的形状。

You put water in a bottle, it becomes the bottle. 

将水倒入瓶中，它变成瓶的形状。

You put water in a teapot , it becomes the teapot. 

将水倒入茶壶中，它变成茶壶的形状。

Water can flow or crash. 

水可静静流淌，亦可猛烈冲击。

Be water, my friends! 

像水一样吧，我的朋友

内心不动如山，外相流水潺潺
