Week One

At the end of the first week, It is a good time to summarize.

Although western culture is different with eastern, there are things universal. Just like what I was told by someone.

Take peer feekback as an example. Don't be so direct when our peers are classmates. If you want to help them, find the right way to be constructive. At the same time, keep my own mind open when I am receiving feedbacks, perhaps they are being sharp because they want to help. Just not the right way of expressing themselves.

For another piece of mind, I think Friday visits are helpful for understanding the mid-western life of US. A city of 3.5 thousand citizens, Gibson City, there are 3 banks, hospital, police station, ethyl factory, etc. Wow! This is so different!

My city, Langfang has a population of 400 thousand, and It is a small city in China! How different!

Now, last but not least, financial classes. I want to say, thank goodness I know financial statements and ratios already! Or else, I might want to commit suicide! It is not easy if you ask for my opinion. The schedule is really tight. It is absolutely university experience again.
