买条黄牛学种田，

I’ll get a head of cattle to learn to farm

结间茅屋傍林泉。

And form a hut near the forest spring

因思老去无多日，

Considering that I’ll grow old very soon

且向山中过几年。

I’d like to stay in the mountains a few years

为吏为官皆是梦，

Being an official is like living in the dream

能诗能酒总神仙。

You are immortals if you can hum verse and drink wine

世间万事都增价，

Everything in the world increases in price

老了文章不值钱。
