How is an interactive whiteboard different from traditional blackboards?

Well,you can prepare what you want to write on thr board before class on the computer;there is no messy chalk to use;and you are able to play video,audio and interactive games with it.

I heard that it allows you to engage with your students up to the front of the classroom to work with it.Here is an example.
