So recently, actually not very recently, I came back from China after attending the Winter Cultural Camp. In our last few days, we got to ride by bus all the way to Zhangjiakou, the 2020 Winter Olympics ski course. We got to ski there and experience the course. In this article, I will recount my experiences and share my feelings about it.
最近，实际上不是最近，我在参加冬季文化营后从中国回来。在过去的几天里，我们乘坐公共汽车一路前往2020年冬季奥运会滑雪场张家口。我们去那里滑雪，体验课程。在本文中，我将重述我的经历并分享我对此的感受。
First of all, it was very cold! The warmest it got was -4 degrees Celsius. Some of you may not think that's very cold, but I'm from New Zealand where the coldest days in winter don't even freeze to ice. So there I was, with my friends we issued our gear and got to skiing! We had free lessons and so our instructor taught us to walk, brake, stop, turn and ski!
首先，它非常冷！它最温暖的是-4摄氏度。你们当中有些人可能认为不是很冷，但我来自新西兰，冬天最寒冷的日子甚至不会结冰。所以我和我的朋友一起发布了我们的装备并且开始滑雪！我们有免费课程，所以我们的教练教我们走路，刹车，停车，转弯和滑雪！
After that, we had lunch at the ski resort and took a break. By that time it was about 12 pm and it was our free time! Some kids were so cold they went inside and didn't ski at all! My friends and I went out though and had raced down the hill and played in the snow.
之后，我们在滑雪胜地吃了午餐，休息了一下。到那时大概是下午12点，这是我们的空闲时间！有些孩子很冷，他们进去了，根本没有滑雪！我和我的朋友出去了，然后跑下山，在雪地里玩耍。
Did you know that most of the snow on the ski course is artificial!
So at 3 pm, we all returned our things and pack our luggage. We left Zhangjiakou and returned to Beijing.

So what I thought about the trip. The ski experience was amazing! You could feel the cold air smacking your face as you ski down the hill and the cold air freezing your eyelashes. Skiing with your friends makes it so much better as well. Overall, my experience was amazing and I'd highly recommend everyone to try skiing.
