Today, as a investigator who is preparing for baptism, I took a lesson from Leo and Jeff. Before the class, we had a simple meal together and were chatting about career, life plan, testimony, and many other trivial things. I had to say the Spicy Fern Root Noodles made by Leo are so palatable, that I took a lot and left only a little to Jeff. That made me feel a little bit guilty ^_^.
Jeff and Leo introduced me to the history of the Church of Jesus Christ briefly, and then, show me a video about the Restoration of the Church led by Joseph Smith. Importantly, they taught me how to know the things all about the LDS were true,as Moroni 10:4-5 said,"if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost. And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things." I am glad to see this principle was confirmed by my own experience.Because I could slightly feel the Holy Spirit after I prayed to Heavenly Father sincerely.I wish this pleasant sensation could last forever.
Moreover,I asked them what had been their most impressive testimony thus far? Jeff said when he heard a prophet in LDS was dead, Inexplicably,even though this prophet he never knew before,he felt extremely sad even stronger than he lost relatives.These unusual spiritual experience confirmed that his faith was true.Meanwhile,Leo said he would feel peaceful and comfortable as long as he attended activities in the Church.
Instead of some extraordinary strong impression, their testimonies were ordinary but ingenuous.
