1、发音时，舌头微微伸出，至于三下门齿之间，舌身扁平
2、舌尖和下齿之间的气流通道非常窄小，气流从舌齿间的缝隙中泄出
3、声带不震动
4、时常会错把/θ/读成/s/或/f/例如把thing/θiŋ/或/siŋ/这主要是发音时没有将舌头放在上下齿之间，甚至上牙咬住下唇
