注意这个小介词by，在描写报表数据的时候，会经常用到。By表示“从……看”、“依照”，比如我们如果要看按年龄和职业划分的就业数据：a breakdown of employment figures by age and occupation

suspicious 的近义词比如skeptical，用法都很像，be suspicious/skeptical of sth.，但需要注意的是，suspicious更多怀疑的是不诚实甚至是违法犯罪的行为动机，而skeptical怀疑的是观点、预测、主张的可能性。来几个例句体会一下：
They became suspicious of his behaviour and contacted the police. 他们开始觉得他行为可疑，便报了警。
I amsceptical about his chances of winning. 我怀疑他取胜的可能性。
The public remain sceptical of these claims. 公众对这些说法仍持怀疑态度。
Dr Kristen Knowles, an evolutionary psychologist from Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh, who was not involved in the study, said it was interesting that the research made a clear connection between perceptions of infidelity and actual infidelity.
