安卓Activity的启动过程详细分析

前言

Activity是安卓开发中的四大组件之一,而且同时也是安卓开发中运用到最多的组件,安卓中页面的显示和Activity则有着息息相关的关系,所以能够弄懂Activity的启动过程也是十分必要的。

Activity用法:

常见的Activity用法就是用来显示页面的,或者我们也可以传递数据到下一个Activity页面中,或者我们也可以在Activty中创建Fragment进行附着。

Activity大概就这几种常见的方法,具体执行时间以及执行顺序不再这里进行详细分析;我们主要来看看Activity启动的时候会去做一些什么事情;

上面我们经常使用到的启动Activity的方法,接下来我们进去Activity的startActivity方法中去看看:

我们可以看到startActivity方法最终会调用到startActivityForResult的方法,并且此时的情况传递的requestCode为-1;继续往下看:

上述代码我们可以只用关注mParent == null的逻辑即可,mParent 不为空是ActivityGroup嵌套多个Activity的情况,已经被Fragment取代,我们先注意到 mInstrumentation.execStartActivity方法会执行返回一个结果:

通过上述代码可以看到启动Activity会调用到ActivityTaskManager.getService().startActivity方法,

ActivityTaskManager.getService()返回的实际上是IActivityTaskManager;

这里可以看到执行startActivity方法最终是由IActivityTaskManager来进行,IActivityTaskManager是创建了IActivityManager,而ActivityManagerService最终是实现IActivityManager类,所以这里最终会移交到ActivityManagerService类中进行处理:

查看下ActivityManagerService类中的startActivity方法:

mActivityTaskManager是ActivityTaskManagerService类:

可以看到在这里我们最后会调用到 getActivityStartController().obtainStarter(intent, "startActivityAndWait")的方法,getActivityStartController方法回去到ActivityStartController类,通过ActivityStartController类的obtainStarter获取到ActivityStarter的方法,接着我们继续查看ActivityStarter类是如何执行execute方法?

如果不需要等待执行Activity的返回结果,我们直接进入startActivity代码逻辑。

这里依然会调用到ActivityStarter自身的startActivity方法:

这里可以查看几处重点代码,发现我们通过mSupervisor的相关方法对权限检测,同时解析了相关启动的信息。这里的mSupervisor可以看到是ActivityStackSupervisor类,可以看出是对Activity启动过程中的相关信息进行检测;然后会调用resultStack的sendActivityResultLocked方法,此处resultStack为ActivityStack类,我们进入ActivityStack类中进行查看:

mService.getLifecycleManager().scheduleTransaction(r.app.getThread(), r.appToken,ActivityResultItem.obtain(list));这里的代码实际将整个启动过程交给IApplicationThread去处理,而实际上r.app.getThread(),参数是ApplicationThread,AppcationThread实现了IApplicationThread。ApplcaitionThread又是我们ActivityThread中的一个子类,我们去到ApplicationThread中查看:

可以看到ActivityThead里面发送了Handler消息。那么我们应该去找对应的handleMessage的方法,并找到对应ActivityThread.H.EXECUTE_TRANSACTION事件处理的逻辑:

可以看到这里会继续执行一个 mTransactionExecutor.execute(transaction);的方法,mTransactionExecutor是TransactionExecutor类,继续去查看TransactionExecutor的execute方法:

继续重点看最后一句,executeLifecycleState方法,根据命名表露的意思,大概要进行生命周期的处理了:

当调用到performLifecycleSequence方法的时候,我们可以看到此时已经对生命周期各个时期的事件进行了分类处理,这里已经是我们熟悉的一些生命周期的方法了;mTransactionHandler为ClientTransactionHandler类,而真正实现这些方法的地方则在ClientTransactionHandler类的实现类ActivityThread中,我们举例看下handleLaunchActivity方法:

上述代码则展示了Activity组建相关信息的过程,同时我们注意到在组建的过程中,会调用到这么一句方法, mInstrumentation.callActivityOnCreate;mInstrumentation即为Instrumentation类,这个方法我们猜想就是平时我们重写的Activity方法生命周期的回调。下面我们就进去查看验证一下吧:

可以看到这里的确调用到了我们Activity的onCreate方法了,此时就已经走到了onCreate方法,如果我们重写了此方法,那么此时肯定就是进入到我们自己重写的Activity的onCreate中了;
