    《苏东坡传》

    1. 中文感悟

    本章节主要讲述了苏东坡在杭州任职时期的生活状态,也是他一生中比较快乐的时光,同时也是他创作的最佳时期,读起来也是比较轻松的~

    2. guiding task

Q: What was Su Tungpo's life like in Hangchow?

A: Though Su Tungpo didn't have a high position in Hangchow, he lived a gay life there, and created many wonderful poems. In addition, he often communicated with accomplished courtesans (but not so crazy about them) and talked with monks.

    interesting sentence:

Around them all lay the clear blue waters of the lake with a circumference of about ten miles, and in the distance beyond, clouds nestled against the mountaintops, half concealing and half revealing them. The clouds gave variety to the mountains by lending them a changing shape, and the mountains housed the clouds by providing them a home of rest. Sometimes the air felt as if it were going to snow, and a low haze covered the foothills.

These sentences about the description of the scene are very beautiful. The inverted sentences and the words such as "nestle" and "house" make the scene more lively.
