Your luminance’s too bright for mortal eyes.
Whoe’er beheld it long would lose his sight.
For he who sees but glory yours denies
if he’s not blind, his mind knows not what’s light.
Some naysayers might your holy halo doubt,
For it all imperfections overshade.
The sun exists not its dark spots without
before whose radiation all rays fade.
Unlike those sightless moths who’re drawn to flame
I choose to chase your flare by my will free.
Accepting light as well as shadow’s claim,
Not just by faith alone I worship thee.
Why not bestowing true believers grace
in lieu of casting light to dark percase?
