On March 14, the United Nations sustainable development solutions network released its annual report on global happiness in 2018, ranking the national happiness of 156 countries.

In this year's ranking, Nordic country Finland tops the list, with Canada at no. 7, just like last year. Canada was in the top 10 in all previous rankings, with the highest ranking 4th and the lowest at number 7.

Other top 10 countries were Norway, Denmark, Iceland, Switzerland, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Sweden and Australia.

China became the 86th place this year, from 79th in last year's report. The top 10 countries are from the OECD, a highly developed economy, the good social welfare , the beautiful natural environment and social high degrees of freedom, a variety of reasons contributed to the country residents happiness peaks.China's GDP is growing steadily, and its residents' life expectancy is getting longer. Why is it that Chinese people's happiness is not increasing?
