Compare between NZ and China
During this presentation, I am going to discuss and compare the difference in lifestyle and culture between NZ and China. I’ll focus on the topic like food, education, and the environment in these countries help you articulate your ideas.
Firstly, I’d like to discuss Chinese food in my opinion. China is a large and old country, so the domestic food variety is also very rich, there are eight major cuisines in China, such as Cantonese cuisine, Sichuan cuisine, Hunan cuisine, Lu cuisine, Su, Zhejiang, Fujian cuisine, as well as Anhui cuisine. Each cuisine is cooked differently depending on the climate and food culture of each region. There are mainly steamed, fried, and stewed and else. For example, Cantonese cuisine is mainly steamed so people will feel that the food will be particularly fresh and sweet, and it is also suitable for foreigners. Anyway, Hunan and Sichuan cuisine is a bit of spicy, but they are full of color and flavor so they can stimulate people's appetite; therefore, they are very popular. Now there are many Chinese restaurants in New Zealand and even the world. If you have heard of Chinese “full feast”, you can appreciate the profoundness of Chinese food culture.
New Zealand is surrounded by the ocean so we can enjoy the high quality of freshes and rich seafood; and because New Zealand is an animal husbandry country, we can enjoy a better quality of beef, lamb, and dairy products than in China and also, there are fewer people here than China, so we can enjoy the comfortable shopping environment and choose more freshes even though the price is much higher.
Comparing with New Zealand, Chinese food has more vegetables and the cost is a lot cheaper. Most restaurants' dining environment and sanitation in China are excellent as well.
Before we came to New Zealand, we lived in Shenzhen. Shenzhen is also a developed immigration city, and she is also a coastal city. The people in Shenzhen were from all over the country and around the globe. There are varieties of food as well as the cultures around the world gathered in Shenzhen so it is very convenient to all sorts of things. All the people who live and work in Shenzhen felt hopeful for their later career and happy for their life.
Secondly, as we all know, there are some differences between the two countries. China is a developing country, there are 1.3 billion people in China, so there is fierce competition during their whole life career. As students, they have to work very hard to get the chance for studying at a higher level; as practitioners, they must have a sufficient amount of knowledge reserved and the ability to cooperate with others. Only in this way, they will have a higher standard for their life.
